Mental Diarrhea: How to Stop OVERTHINKING

Published Categorized as Reflect & Reset

A jumping mind is an exhausting concept. Most humans can’t clear their minds for even 1 minute, and this isn’t good for sleep and mental health as a whole. As I listened to a famous philosopher, he made sense when saying, ‘Humans have prevailed to think they need a purpose in life, when in fact we are capable of anything.’ Too bad I wouldn’t have taken that advice as a child growing up because I was under the impression we needed a purpose.

“Live every moment like it’s your last.”

If only more people would get that, I seriously have to work on my mental diarrhea. Too much in the brain will kill me sooner than I think. Overthinking will cause more problems, not only mentally but physically.

I can tell you that it is hard to do, but for some reason, I can’t seem to get shit out of my head. People are constantly annoying me or making me feel useless. They say you allow this; truth: maybe, but the reality is that people do not have the right to say the things they say without consequences. I overthink because everything in my life has to be uniform. The worry, the plans, and the journey create so much chaos; I wish I had the means to live a calm and, rather, a “never give a fuck” life.

So, let me ask the question: How do you stop overthinking?
